At Rustic Engravings, we prefer Paypal and Shopify payments for all orders. Please note that we do not accept money orders at this time.
All products sold by Rustic Engravings are made in and shipped from Canada. If you are having your item shipped outside of Canada, please be aware that your country may impose import duties or taxes on your purchase. Please note that Rustic Engravings will not be held responsible for any such charges.
To ensure timely processing of your order, please complete your payment as soon as possible. We will not begin the creation process for your project until payment has been processed and we have communicated details about your project. If we do not receive payment and communication within one week of the order being placed, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Since we create each item to order, please consider the creation time is between three and six weeks plus shipping time. If you require rush delivery on an item please view the priority order options and select the appropriate shipping option in checkout.
All orders will be shipped to the address you provide during checkout, but if you need to arrange delivery to another address, please contact us to make arrangements. To ensure timely delivery, please provide a contact phone number with your order. This number will only be used by the courier delivering your package in case of difficulty delivering your package. The courier will only guarantee delivery times if a contact number has been provided. A signature will be required upon delivery.
Orders to Canada and the USA that are shipped with standard ground shipping typically take 1-6 business days to arrive at their destination. Please note that all customs fees will be paid by the buyer. If your item is not picked up from the post office or has an incorrect address, and it is sent back to us, a second shipping fee will be charged to send your package a second time. A signature will be required upon delivery.
International shipments outside of Canada and the US that are shipped with standard shipping or International Parcel - Surface service can take up to 3 months to be delivered, depending on the country you are in. Please select an appropriate shipping method that fits the timeframe that you need your order in. A signature will be required upon delivery.
At Rustic Engravings, we take great pride in our quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. As our products are custom-made and personalized, we cannot accept returns unless you receive the wrong item or the item does not match the description. Rest assured, every item is thoroughly inspected before shipping to ensure it meets our high standards of quality.
Please note that as each item is unique and made to order, the wood grain pattern may differ slightly from the example image provided. However, we always select wood with an interesting grain pattern to give your item character. If your item contains screws, please understand that the screw color may also vary. While we cannot guarantee a specific screw color, if you have a preference, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your request.
In the unlikely event that your item is damaged during shipping, you must open the package with the mail carrier present and initiate a damage claim through the carrier. Once the claim has been resolved, we can issue a refund.
Please ensure that you provide the correct shipping address. Rustic Engravings will not be responsible for additional costs incurred due to a failure of delivery caused by an incorrect address provided by the buyer or because nobody was available to sign for the package during delivery attempts. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide an appropriate shipping address where someone will be available during the day to sign for the package, or to arrange for package pickup at a local post office. Failure to do so will result in the package being returned to Rustic Engravings and incurring a return shipping fee, as well as a re-shipping fee (no longer eligible for the discounted Standard Shipping rate) to have the package re-delivered.
Please note that it is your responsibility to be aware of your country's import laws. We will not issue a refund for any package that is held at the border due to import restrictions.
