Each book is handcrafted to order from wood that has been carefully and artistically stained using a layering technique to give it a unique rustic chic look with character and depth. The spine of these books is formed from top grain cowhide leather and is rubbed with mink oil to bring out its distinct leathery aroma. Spines are made to a precise size to fit the exact number of pages giving these pieces a tight custom-made feel – This does, however, mean that pages cannot be added or removed later on. Your personalized monogram can be laser engraved into your book to make your unique piece your own and to add a personal touch that will be cherished.

These books are made to be displayed for a lifetime and they make wonderful unique, personal, sentimental, long lasting gifts. Their quality and personal touch make these books perfect for wedding photo albums, guest books, wood anniversary albums, family chronicles, family heirlooms, memorial books, artist portfolios and baby scrapbooks.

Each book comes with your choice of cardstock, recycled cardstock, double thick cardstock, torn edge pages, alternating cardstock and clear/transparent pages, scrapbook album pages, or slotted album pages. See photos and detailed description below.

BOOK DESIGN: Blank book with rustic layered brown stain, leather spine and large black metal T hinges.

ORIENTATION: Square with portrait look.

DIMENSIONS: Sized to fit approximately 12X12” Pages (books with slotted album pages are sized to fit pages approximately 10X12.5”). Thickness will vary with number of pages selected.

PAGES: All pages are archival, acid-free and photo-safe. Pages are fixed and are NOT removable or refillable. Scrapbook pages include cardstock inserts which can be removed.

ENGRAVING: Includes text as well as pictured graphic on front cover. For additional text or custom graphics see "add-ons" section of shop.

CREATION TIME: Typically, 4 weeks. For urgent orders, an upgrade to priority processing may be requested and will be accommodated where possible. Additional fees apply.

All pages are archival quality, acid free and photo safe. Photo-safe permanent glue dots are recommended for adhering photos and media to page options with a cardstock backing.

1. CARDSTOCK
Premium heavyweight cardstock that will not degrade your photos, writing, or artwork over time. This is a good option for a guest book, journal, or sketchbook. Also available in black by request.
To select this option, choose “Cardstock” in the page options drop-down menu.

3. DOUBLE THICK CARDSTOCK
Premium double thick heavyweight cardstock that will not degrade your photos, writing, or artwork over time. This is a good option for instant photo guest books, scrapbook journals, or multimedia sketchbooks. Also available in black by request.
To select this option, choose “DBL Thick Cardstock” in the page options drop-down menu.

6. SCRAPBOOK ALBUM PAGES
Clear plastic scrapbook style pockets (one large pocket encasing premium heavyweight cardstock). Cardstock can be slid out and photos can be adhered, or you can add your own pages. This option is ideal for use in projects where additional protection is needed and where multiple sized photos/media are being added.
To select this option, choose “Scrapbook Album” in the page options drop-down menu.

NOTE: For wedding guest books, it is recommended that you remove all pages and have guests fill them out separately, then add them back into the book at a later time - otherwise this option is not recommended for guest books. Removing the cardstock from the protective sleeves and then re-inserting it can make signing your guest book a challenge.
